Its here again!

The special day in which nothing can come between you and Allahs mercy or prevent your duas from getting answered. That golden opportunity to get many of your previous sins completely wiped and even those sins that are yet to be committed [may Allah (swt) distant us from all sins, ameen].

The prophet (saw) said about the day of arafat, 9th dhul hijjah, tomorrow:
There is no day on which Allaah frees people from the Fire more so than on the day of ’Arafah. He comes close to those, and then He revels before His Angels saying, ‘What are these people seeking.” [Jaami’ut-Tirmidhee (3/377)]

As for fasting on the day of Arafaah for those not performing Hajj:
The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was asked about fasting on the Day of ‘Arafaah. He said, “It expiates for the sins of the previous year and of the coming year.”. [Muslim, No 1162]

And coincidentally, this great day falls on a friday, friday been the best day of the week, the day which has in it an hour that all duas are answered, and the only friday within these great 10 days.

All Glory be to Allah, for it is indeed a great blessing to be given the opportunity to witness such a day.

So pour your heart out to Allah in dua, don’t cut short your dua list no matter how long,
repeat words of praises of your Lord, read the Qur’an and most importantly fast on the day of arafat.

May Allah (swt) spare our lives to see tomorrow, and make us of those who will reap the blessings that comes with it, ameen.

9th of Dhul Hijjah

The prophet (peace be upon him) said; “there is no day on which Allah frees more of his slaves from the fire than the day of Arafah. Then He verily draws near, and boasts about them before his angels and says; “what do they seek?””

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said regarding the
reward of fasting on the Day of ‘Arafah: “…It wipes
away the sins for two years: the previous year and the
coming year…” (Muslim)
