Beautiful Reminder

Do not think about how small the sin is, but think about Who you have just disobeyed.

Ibn Qayyim said:
“Do not belittle a small sin, for the biggest of fires can be caused by the smallest of sparks.”
[al-Fawaa’id 3/227]

Never commit a sin because of its enjoyment.
The enjoyment will eventually go, but
sin will remain with you forever..
When you sin, you ignore Allah’s power to punish you. When you fail to repent, you ignore Allah’s willingness to forgive you.
Your sins are not bigger than Allah’s mercy. Repent now. There is not a single sin which Allah cannot forgive. He is the All-Forgiving.

When you think of committing a sin, think about these things:
1. Allah is watching you
2. Angels are recording your deeds
3. Punishment of the grave
4. You will be answerable on the day of judgement

Imagine the rewards of Ramadhaan?

If we want to make the most of Ramadan, then we have to begin by imagining its reward.

A businessman who’s given a choice between two types of equally-selling merchandise, one that brings in a ten dollar return and one that brings in a hundred dollar return, won’t think twice about picking the latter. And if he’s given a choice between merchandise that brings in a hundred dollars and merchandise that brings in a thousand dollars, he won’t even blink before picking the thousand dollar profit. The more profitable the return, the more eager he will be to take it.

Shouldn’t the same apply to us as believers in Ramadan? We know the weight Allah has given this blessed month; we know the multiplied rewards available, and the opportunities for forgiveness. So shouldn’t we value every day, every hour, every minute, every second of this month?

People who seek their reward day by day might slack off for a day or two because they look at the day as their unit. People who seek their reward by the hour might slack off a few hours, but letting go of entire days is difficult because they realize how many hours fit into each day. People who seek their reward by the minute might take off a few minutes, but they realize how much each hour is worth, so it’s hard to let an hour go by without utilizing it. And people who seek their reward by the second will hate to slack off for even a second, because they realize how every instant is precious, how every instant can bring them reward. So spend some time thinking about the vast amount of reward available to you during this month. Do you know the types of ajer that are waiting for you during Ramadan? This chance you’ve been given to have all of your previous sins forgiven? Aren’t you anxious for the reward of a night which Allah has said is better than a thousand months?

●The Prophet (SAS) said:”whoever fasts during Ramadan out of sincere faith and hoping to attain Allah’s rewards, then all his past sins will be forgiven.” (Sahih Al-Bukhari)

●Indeed We have revealed it (Qur’an) in the night of Power. And what will explain to you what the night of Power is? The night of Power is better than a thousand months. Therein descends the Angels and the Spirit (Jibreel) by Allah’s permission, on every errand: (they say) peace”(continuously) till the rise of Morning!” Q(97:1-5)

●Abu Hurairah narrated that Allah’s Messenger, salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam, said : “When the month of Ramadan starts, the gates of the heaven are opened and the gates of Hell are closed and the devils are chained.” [Bukhari]

●Abu Hurairah reported that the Prophet, salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam, climbed upon the mimbar (pulpit) and said: “Aameen [O Allah grant it], aameen, aameen”. So it was said, “O Messenger of Allah, you climbed upon the mimbarand said : “aameen, aameen, aameen”? So he said :”Jibraa’eel, `alaihi assalam, came to me and said, ‘Whoever reaches the month of Ramadan and does not have [his sins] forgiven and so enters Fire, then may Allah distance him, say aameen”. So I said “aameen”. [Ibn Khuzaimah, Ahmad and al-Baihaqui : Sahih]

●Prophet (SAS) said :”There is a gate to Paradise that is called ar-Rayyan. On the Day of Resurrection it will say: ‘Where are those who fasted?’ When the last [one] has passed through the gate, it will be locked.” [al-Bukhari and Muslim].

●The Messenger of Allah, salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam said : “When it is the first night of Ramadan the evil devils are chained. The gates of Fire are locked- not a single gate is opnened, and the gates of Paradise are opened- not a single gate is locked, and a caller calls out :’O seeker of good come forward, and O seeker of evil withhold, and there are many whom Allah frees from the Fire – and that is every night. [at-Tirmithi, Ibn Majah, and Ibn Khuzaimah : Hasan]

●There are in the month of Ramadan in every day and night those to whom Allah grants freedom from the Fire, and there is for every Muslim an supplication which he can make and will be granted.” [Hadith Ahmad, Saheeh]

●Every action of the son of Adam is given manifold reward, each good deed receiving ten times its like, up to seven hundred times. Allah the Most High said, ‘Except for fasting, for it is for Me and I will give recompense for it, he leaves off his desires and his food for Me.’ for the fasting person there are two times of joy; a time when he breaks his fast and a time of joy when he meets his Lord, and the smell coming from the mouth of the fasting person is better with Allah than the smell of musk.” [al-Bukhari]

Imagine the reward, and don’t waste this chance, not even a second of it.

☆Beautiful Hadith Of The Day: Good Character☆

Nothing is placed on the Scale that is heavier than good character. Indeed the person with good character will have attained the rank of the person of fasting and prayer.” [Tirmidhi]

Surely, this hadith is enough to make every wise person to persistently work on her character to make it more beautiful each day.

And we ask Allah (swt) to grant us the best of characters, for none can guide to it except Him, ameen.

♥What I crave…

Some may crave fame,
Some wealth,
Some eternal youth and health,
And, beauty for the vain.

My prayer Allaah (SWT) is none of these,
I seek the grace of prayer,
A gift so precious and rare,
O’ Gardner of my soul, please plant this seed.

Let my every breath be praise,
Let each heartbeat be a reminder,
To be more loving and kinder,
Remembering how limited my days.

Help me to pray each day,
As if it were my last,
Living now and not in the past.

O’ Allaah (SWT) let my voice be your voice,
Let your desires be mine,
Let me not waste precious time,
Then my soul shall rejoice,
When it returns back to you.

★Our Hadith Of The Day★

Abdullah Ibn Mas’ud said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (Peace and blessings be upon him) say:
Allah has cursed the woman who does tattoos and the one who has them done, the woman who plucks eyebrows and the one who has it done, and the one who files her teethfor the purpose of beauty, altering the creation of Allah.
[Bukhari & Muslim]

*Cursed here means ‘cast out from the Mercy of Allah. So let’s endeavour to call the attention of our sisters that practice such, as the doors of repentance are open for whoever seeks it.

“And when Our Verses are recited to such a one, he turns away in pride, as if he heard them not – as if there were deafness in his ear. So announce to him a painful torment.” [Quran 31:7]

May Allah’s (swt) mercy be with us every passing minute, ameen.

The devil’s instrument☆

Our heart has a beat and a rhythm, but at times it seems a bit interrupted.
with sounds that might sound astounding, but it invades the heart and only corrupts it.
It intoxicates the heart, even though he might feel completely sober.
It fills the vein with its venom, the like of a deadly cobra.
That sound today is found stuck in our ears like a plug.
It blocks us out from the reality, because its more addicting than any drug.
It paints a false image and has the heart believing in that which is displayed.
It pressures him into the darkness, so all his light starts to slowly fade.
So to him this world becomes, just like another arcade.
So he takes this world in vanity, and forgets the purpose of it being made.
Soon deeds become not important, and wickedness catches the eyes.
So that which is actually the falsehood, becomes the truth in its disguise.
And little does he know, that it plays with his emotions.
The love for Allah is gone, because his heart is now hard and frozen.
And much other harms afflicts him, that are too many to be even measured.

Because the rhythm of his heart, is now just a broken record.
And why even listen to that haram when you have the lyrics of the book of your Master.
No lyrics in the world can ever be equal to its smallest chapter.
Matter of fact not even a sentence, nor a single letter.
And music will just destroy you, but the Quran’s recitation will make you better.
So lets all clear our mind and open our ears to its speaker.

To Allah the greatest, and it’ll make us stronger and the devil only weaker.
Because the rhythm of his heart, is now just a broken record
And why even listen to that haram when you have the lyrics of the book of your Master.
No lyrics in the world can ever be equal to its smallest chapter.
Matter of fact not even a sentence, nor a single letter.
And music will just destroy you, but the Quran’s recitation will make you better.
So lets all clear our mind and open our ears to its speake

★Our Hadith Of The Day: Trust & Reliance★

just pray

Ibn `Abbas (May Allah be pleased with them) said: When (Prophet) Ibrahim (Abraham) was thrown into the fire, he said: “Allah (Alone) is sufficient for us, and, He is the Best Disposer of affairs.” So did Messenger of Allah Muhammad (PBUH) when he was told: “A great army of the pagans had gathered against him, so fear them”. But this (warning) only increased him and the Muslims in Faith and they said: “Allah (Alone) is sufficient for us, and He is the Best Disposer of affairs (for us)”.

Even in the worst of circumstances, one should always have faith & trust in Allah. Nothing will happen to us unless what Allah has decreed & whatever he decrees is the best for His servant.

And we ask Allah (swt) to grant us the utmost trust and reliance in Him, ameen.
