We’ve forgotten and we all need to be reminded.
We need to be reminded of our beloved. Our beloved who will keep asking and pleading with Allah Azawajal on the day of judgement. He will keep pleading saying ” Ya Allah, ummati, ummati”. Every other prophet will be worried about him self, scared for him self, but not him.
He will not rest until all of his ummah are taken out of hell. His love for his ummah is evident, he even said he can’t wait to meet those who believe in him without seeing him. (Ya Allah make us from them). We have to admit that we have fallen short especially when we say things like “it’s only sunnah”
He went through a lot for this deen to reach you and me. He felt pain, he suffered cuz he stood up and he warned. Even though he went through a lot, he was a man that would smile, a man that would be kind and would be patient. A man that was so generous he would give out what he was wearing to someone who asked. A man that was so loving would profess his love for his wife in a crowd of men. A man that was so thoughtful he would pray for every single member of his ummah during tahajjud while in sujood. A man that is described even by the non Muslims,as the most influential man in history. Muhammad sallalahu Alayhi wa Salam, is truly the best human to ever walk on this earth.
On the flip side, on the day of judgement what would he have to say when the prophet peace be upon him complains to Allah that his ummah have neglected him? Every time we’ve said its only sunnah or we don’t read and learn about him as much as we know what’s happening in vampire diaries. What words would we have in defense of ourselves? As Imam Bukhari said, “Knowledge precedes speech and actions”. My dear deensisters,we need to learn more about Muhammad sallalahu Alayhi wa Salam, through beneficial knowledge we can get to the level of loving him. Then we can hope that our love for him will count when we need it the most. Then we can hope that we will be amongst those that he smiles at, those that he recognizes, those that he wants to meet, those that will be his companions at the highest levels of Jannah.
May Allah purify our intentions, make us worthy and fill our hearts with excessive love for Muhammad salallahu alayhi wa salam.
ALLAHUMMA SALLI ALA MUHAMMADIW WA ALA AALI MUHAMMADIN KAMAA SALLAITA ALA IBRAHIMA WA ALA AALI IBRAHIMA INNAKA HAMIDUM MAJID. ALLAHUMMA BAARIK ALA MUHAMMADIW WA ALA AALI MUHAMMADIN KAMAA BAARAKTA ALA IBRAHIMA WA ALA AALI IBRAHIMA INNAKA HAMIDUM MAJID.
“O Allah, let Your Blessings come upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as you have blessed Ibrahim and his family. Truly, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious. Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as you have blessed Ibrahim and his family. Truly, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious.”
