Slaves of Ar-Rahmaan

So Allaah Describes His slaves in Surah Al Furqaan…

He says; Wa ‘ibaadur-Rahmaaanil-lazeena yamshoona ‘alal-‘ardi hawnan wa ‘izaa khaatabahumul-jaahiloona qaaloo Salaamaa.

✽And the (faithful) slaves of the Most Gracious are those who walk on the earth in Humility and Sedateness, and when the foolish address them (with bad words) they reply back with mild words of gentleness…

•Note that, Allaah does not say “the Slaves of Allaah” but He says “the Slaves of Ar-Rahmaan” And when Rahma Surrounds a thing, it makes it ‘Rahma-ful’…And so, even when the ignorant people address them, they are compassionate enough to respond with kind words…

✽And as Servants of Allaah, we try to emulate these attributes…like of Mercy and Compassion..

☞And Know that Ar-Rahman is the attribute of mercy of Allah that envelopes all His creations,.. Regardless of their state of faith,..So His worshipers overlook just as Ar-Rahman does, the state of the ignorant ones. And Allaah continues…

‘Wallazeena yabeetoona li-Rabbihim Sujjadan wa qiyaamaa.’

✽And those who spend the night in worship of their Lord, Prostrate and Standing.

•Ibn Abbas said, whoever prays 2 raka’ats or more ba’adal isha will be considered among those described in the verse

•Al kalbi said, whoever prays 2 ba’adal maghrib and 4 ba’adal isha will be considered like those mentioned in the verse

☞Their nights are not wasted but are utilized in servitude and worship of Allah…which includes Sleeping a part of it too…(with correct Niyyah)

And then, they are Conscious and fearful of the Torment of the Fire, and they say

“Rabbanas-rif ‘annaa ‘azaaba Jahannama, ‘inna ‘azaabahaa kaana gharaamaa.”

✽Our Lord! Avert from us the torment of Hell. Verily, its torment is ever an inseparable, permanent punishmentSubhanAllaah!Innahaa Saaa’at mustaqarran wa muqaamaa.

✽Evil indeed it (Hell) is as an abode nd as a place to rest in.And Allaah Describes the Attributes of His Slaves even further…in Surah Al Furqaan; He says;Wallazeena ‘izaaa ‘anfaqoo lam yusrifoo wa lam yaqturoo wa kaana bayna zaakila qawaamaa.

✽And those who, when they spend, are neither extravagant nor niggardly, but hold a Medium (way) between those (extremes)

«Their Spending is Sunnah-Sized»

Wallazeena laa yad’oona ma’al-laahi ‘ilaahan ‘aakhara wa laa yaqtuloonan-nafsal-latee harramal-laahu ‘illaah bilhaqqi wa laa yaznoon: wa man yaf’al zaalika yalqa ‘asaamaa.

✽And those who invoke not any other ilaah(god) along with Allah, nor kill such person as Allah has forbidden, except for just cause, nor commit illegal sexual intercourse- and whoever does this, shall receive the punishment.So these people also abstain from any form of Shirk, and Murder;

Note that; there is Spiritual murder and physical murder. ‘Looking at a human being in a lustful/inappropriate way is violating your own and their dignity (spiritual murder). And when you kill a person, you have violated their right to live. (Physical murder)’ And they Stay Away from illegal sexual intercourse,…they don’t go Near it (lower their gaze..etc)

For ‘whoever does this shall receive punishment, which will be doubled on the Day of Resurrection’Now, Allaah makes an Exception though…He says;’Illaa man taaba wa ‘aamana wa ‘amila ‘amalan saalihan

✽Except those who *Repent* and *Believe* and *Do Righteous Deeds*;

fa’ulaaa’ika yubaddiluli-laahu sayyi’aatihim hasanaat; wa kaanal-laahu Ghafoorar-Raheemaa.

✽For those, Allah will change their sins into good deeds, and Allah is Ever Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

·Ibn Abbas narrated; ‘some pagans who committed murders in great number and committed illegal sexual intercourse excessively, came to the prophet and said, Oh muhammad! Whatever you say and invite people to is good, but we wish if you could inform us whether we can make an expiation for our (past evil) deeds.”
So the divine verses came “those who invoke not with Allah any other god, nor kill such a person as Allah has forbidden except for just cause, nor commit illegal sexual intercourse- and whoever does this, shall receive the punishment; and on the day of judgement his punishment shall be doubled and he shall abide therein in disgrace…except those who repent and believe and do righteous deeds; for those Allah will exchange their sins with good deeds…”
And there was also revealed, “oh my servants who have transgressed against their souls, despair not in the mercy of Allah..”(Q39:53)

Then Allah speaks of the true repentance and those who are true in repentance, They are those who “repent and do righteous deeds:Allah says;Wa man taaba wa ‘amila saalihan fa’innahoo yatoobu ‘ilal-laahi mataabaa.✽and whosoever repents and does righteous good deeds, then verily he repents to Allah with true repentance.

But there’s more on these people..

Wallazeena laa yashhadoonaz-zoora

✽and those who do not bear witness to falsehood,

wa ‘izaa marroo billaghwi marroo kiraamaa.

✽And if they pass by evil play/talk, they pass by it with dignity.

Wallazeena izaa zukkiroo bi’Aayaati Rabbihim lam yakhiroo ‘alayhaa summan wa ‘umyaanaa.

✽And those who, when they are Reminded of the Ayat of their Lord, fall not deaf and blind to it.*they pay Heed to Reminders*

Wallazeena yaqooloona, “Rabbaanaa hab lanaa min ‘azwaajinaa wa zurriyyaatinaa qurrata ‘a’yunin waj’alnaa lilmuttaqeena ‘imaamaa.

✽And those who say: “Our Lord! Bestow on us from our spouses and offspring the comfort of our eyes, and make us leaders of the Muttaquun (the pious).*they ask for a Righteous family*

‘Ulaaa ‘ika yujzawnal-ghurfata bimaa sabaroo wa yulaqqawna feehaa tahiyyatan wa salaamaa.

✽Those will be rewarded with the highest place (in Paradise) because of their patience. Therein they shall be met with greetings and the word of peace (and respect).
Khaalideena feehaa;

✽Abiding therein-

Hasunat mustaqarran wa muqaamaa.

✽Excellent it is as and abode, and a place to rest in.

[Surah Al Furqaan 63-76]

May Allaah make us among these people, The Ibaadur-Rahmaan♡
